Dr. Behnam Salari, DO is a Dual Fellowship Spine Surgeon with the Spine Center at The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey. He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.  

Dr. Salari is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. He has been published on topics related to spinal surgery, treatment and care. 

Dr. Salari acquired his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ-SOM), followed by a dual fellowship training in spine surgery. He became a spine surgeon after completing double fellowship training from the prestigious University of California, San Diego Medical Center and the Maryland Spinal Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD.

Dr. Salari is known for his clinical and surgical skills involving the spine and his commitment to patients. He exhausts all non-operative treatments to address the pathology of the spine before considering surgical options.
