Jodie Kunkel, PA-C

Jodie Kunkel is a board-certified physician assistant with The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey.

Jodie Kunkel is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University in 2019. She joined Orthopedic Institute in 2024 and will be working with our hand surgery team, seeing patients in the office and assisting in the operating room. 

Jodie previously worked at Summit Health and comes with 4 ½ years’ experience in orthopedic upper extremity, treating disorders from shoulder to fingertip. 

Jodie’s philosophy when treating her patients is to treat them as she would want to be treated. One of the things she finds most rewarding is the ability to assist patients in resuming their normal activities after an exacerbation, injury, or ailment.  

When she is not seeing patients, she can be found taking care of her four-legged family members, with her friends, vacationing, or on the Peloton.
