Your Comfort is Paramount

A minimally invasive procedure, Arthroscopic Surgery is conducted to efficiently view, diagnose and treat conditions within the joints of the body. OINJ’s Orthopedic Surgeons are experienced in using advanced technology to evaluate the source of symptoms of the joint and assist in repair of certain disorders.

During the procedure, a small incision is made and a scope is inserted into the joint. Video is then transmitted through fiber optics within the scope onto a television screen. This gives the surgeon the ability to view the muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones and cartilage of the joint without the need for invasive exploratory surgery. Depending on the condition, this can be an outpatient procedure.

Surgical Procedures:

Several surgical procedures may be combined with arthroscopic surgery through the use of tiny instruments that are inserted into the joint via additional incisions including:

  • Reconstruction of Anterior Cruciate Ligament in Knee
